NEWEDGE Creative is my independent product and furniture design practice in Toowoomba. I originate the designs, develop and present the ideas, and collaborate with local specialists when they are ready to progress towards manufacture.

NEWEDGE Creative is led by Tim Harris, a qualified industrial designer with experience in product development, engineering-related disciplines, pattern making and hands-on manufacturing processes.
My background includes composite materials, mould development, design drafting, patterns and project coordination. That technical familiarity helps me balance creativity with production realities, while recognising when specialist engineering input is needed.
For each project, I can develop an original product concept, prepare clear digital design presentations and work alongside suitably qualified Toowoomba-region businesses for fabrication, tooling and engineering as appropriate. NEWEDGE is a design service, not a manufacturer or engineering consultancy.

Previous work has included pattern making, mould development, production documentation and project coordination for concrete street furniture. I apply that practical experience to original design concepts and to collaborations with specialist local fabricators and engineers.
